At the time he recorded his final Capitol album, Point of No Return, Frank Sinatra was no longer interested in giving his record label first-rate material, preferring to save that for his new label, Reprise. However, someone persuaded the singer to make the album a special occasion by reuniting with Axel Stordahl, the arranger/conductor who helped Sinatra rise to stardom in 6/

I'll Remember April Lyrics: This lovely day will lengthen into evening, we'll sigh goodbye to all we ever had / Alone where we have walked together, I'll remember April and be glad / I'll be.

Point of No Return is the final studio album Frank Sinatra recorded for Capitol Records. It is his twenty-seventh studio album. Released in , Sinatra had already begun his recordings for his self-founded recording label, Reprise. Sinatra, to fulfill his contract, only took a two-day session in September to record and finish up his work at Capitol with this album.

Though already in business in with his own record label, Frank Sinatra was contractually obligated to give Capitol one more record before moving on to Reprise. Sinatra gave them the ironically titled Point of No Return, which is hardly the deal-fulfilling throwaway one might expect. Expertly arranged and conducted by longtime Sinatra ally /5(90).

"I'll Remember April" is a popular song and jazz standard about a romantic relationship ending. The lyric uses the seasons of the year metaphorically to illustrate the growth and death of a cieberkmoneticte.fuddnefolnurevibelhighwintombpregroxt.co lyric also uses the ideas of the hours in a day and the flames of a fire to illustrate a relationship growing stronger and subsequently losing strength.
